Flexibility Services Provision by Frequency-Dependent Control of On-Load Tap-Changer and Distributed Energy Resources

Distribution network connected distributed energy resources (DER) are able to provide various flexibility services for distribution system operators (DSOs) and transmission (TSOs). These local system-wide offered by DER can support the frequency ( f) voltage U) management of a future power with large amounts weather-dependent renewable generation electric vehicles. Depending on magnitude deviation, other active management-based control TSOs could also be provided DSOs in coordination adaptive DER. This paper proposes utilisation demand response based frequency-dependent HV/MV transformer on-load tap-changer (OLTC) operation case larger deviations. The main principle underlying proposed scheme lies dependency loads. In this paper, it is to, simultaneously OLTC control, utilise reverse reactive -voltage (QU) - (PU) -droops units during these deviations, order enable better service from DSO networks. effectivity potential schemes shown through PSCAD simulations. addition, presents holistic collaborative view which network-connected at different deviation levels.
